The purpose of a chemical peel is to improve the overall appearance of the skin. Conditions that can be improved may include: sun damage, irregular/hyper pigmentation, acne scars, large pores and poor skin texture. Clinical results may vary from patient to patient and complete correction of the treated area is not expected on the first treatment.

Contraindications may include: history of kelloid scar formation, recent skin infection or herpes break out, pregnancy and breast-feeding.
